Design

The design of the products varies as their usage varies. For instance, gaming monitors are thicker while professional monitors are thinner. But as we look at ergonomics, we find that usually, the LG monitors lag in ergonomic design. Both LG and Samsung are manufacturing some fantastic designs, but better designs come with a price. So, if you want to go for a better design, you can go for any of these but by spending more money.

Quality

LG and Samsung both make their screens and do not buy them from a third-party vendor. So they care about the quality of the product being manufactured. Both companies make high-quality monitors and are equally best in the quality aspect based on the picture quality of models sold at similar prices. But now LG has started making a bit better TV monitors than Samsung. Also, LG monitors are known for their great response times and the VRR support they provide to minimize stutter.

Price

Both LG and Samsung offer budget monitors that have optimal features. And as you go higher with the price, you find excellent monitors for professionals that have advanced features. If you are looking for a 27 to 31 inches monitor, LG monitors are preferable as these are budget-friendly. However, if you are willing to spend more and splurge more on display, choose Samsung curved and UHD 4k display monitors.
